Tenchi Masaki, the obvious main character of Tenchi Muyo!, isn't exactly what one would call your average 17-year old boy. Very shy around girls, especially of the who-knows-how-old alien variety, he's not the average kid that most people today would expect. Unknowingly the crowned prince of the royal family of the planet Jurai, as a young boy his favorite passtime was to find a dark cave that, according to legend, holds a sleeping demon. Little did he expect to have that demon, revealed as the devious and devil-raising Ryoko, awaken to get revenge on whoever caused trouble for her. With five other alien girls not far behind, Tenchi's life has taken a turn. "Heaven and Earth" are places very near and dear to his heart, but it seems as though he should get his head out of the clouds.
